FUNCTIONS OF FILMS
DECORATIVE FILM
Many effects are available, including geometric designs, sandblaster effects and rice paper designs. This film can be used to increase privacy, display logos, or decorate office partitions, doors and windows. Most of these films can be cut by a computer to create any desired design.
SAFETY FILM
Safety film is used to upgrade float glass to meet Australian standards for safety glazing. When this film is fitted to glass at least 3mm thick, it upgrades the glazing system to levels of compliance with current Australian standards.
SECURITY FILM
This product holds glass together when a burglar attempts to gain entry into a building by smashing the glass. Security film is recommended and accepted by most insurance companies as an effective method of increasing security and some providers even discount premiums when security film is installed.
SOLAR CONTROL
